It's a Masquerade Prom 2012

Kiana answered Traven by saying YES. Kyah had to go clean his room a bit before we could let her down there.

Trying on his "vintage" tux. The boys all got matching tuxes and the guy who rented them to them had to go down to the basement to get them. He told the boys they were about 20 years old. Pretty sure that is the same tux Trev wore to our wedding.

Kiana's mom, DeAnn, and I put together a kit kat brunch for the kids. They do this day date thing and it is expensive so we stepped in. We created a menu and the kids had to list the items in the order that they wanted them served. Each menu item stood for an item we were cooking (roses are red: red velvet waffles). Luck of the draw whether or not you got your fork with your food. We served red velvet waffles with a cream cheese spread, raspberry muffins, scalloped potatoes, bacon and egg soufles, ham, hot coco with heart shaped marshmallows, and fruit cups. After brunch they decorated Valentine's cookies.

After brunch the couples split into 3 teams (there were 6 couples) and played Bigger and Better. They started out with pencils. Tra's team ended up with a trampoline. After the kids left to get ready for prom, DeAnn and I hemmed Kiana's dress and made masks.

My baby is all grown up. I will admit that I teared up some. Here he is escorting his beautiful young lady to their first prom.

Yes, that is the limo they all rented. They had a blast. I'm a little jealous because I've never even seen a limo up close.

I was lucky enough to be asked to take the pictures this year. They are beautiful.

Valentine's Day with the little girls.

Today while everyone else was as school, Acacia and Elyssa and I made Valentine's for their mom Nikki. They turned out really cute!

Beautiful

These are a few of the pictures I took of one of the flower arrangements at my beautiful grandma's funeral.
